The Indian company United Breweries Group produced the Kingfisher Calendar, an annual calendar with swimsuit-clad models, for 19 years between 2003 and 2021.It was said to have advanced the careers of models and actresses such as Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Yana Gupta, Sonali Raut, Ujjwala Raut, Nargis Fakhri, Bruna Abdullah, Deepti Gujral, Lisa Haydon, Aishwarya Sushmita, and Angela Jonsson. Rediff called it "arguably the most prestigious [modelling assignment] in India." The calendar's photographer, Atul Kasbekar, has been involved from its launch in 2003 until its last edition in 2021.
